This is the great day of your birth
Fifty five years ago
And though God took you from this earth
I know my tears must go
For you were not the kind of man
Who'd wish for me to grieve
So I will trust in God's great plan
And seek from it relief...
Life is never perfect
Nor the people in it
Remember the good
Forgive the mistakes
Love without judgement
Celebrate the life that was
By living the life that is...
